The Twins (ballet photo shoot)
This past week I had the opportunity to take some photos of Jordanne and Justine. They are twins on the University of Utah Ballet team.
We took a few shots in their studio, after which we went to take some pictures in a sky walk, but got kicked out by the security guard. So we went to Memory Grove a little earlier than planned, but it turned out really good. They were really fun to work with and very talented in what they do.

The Salt Flats photo shoot
Last Saturday we went out with a small group of photographers and girls from the University of Utah’s ballet team.
We were really excited to get out to the salt flats, but as fate would have it, there was an accident on the freeway that basically turned I-80 into a parking lot. It took us over 3 hours to go 5 miles, Ahhhh. Well what are we to do while we sit in our car for that long with our cameras burning holes in our back packs….. Yep, that’s right I-80 photo-shoot time. Thanks Joanne and Sarah for jumping out and letting us get our cameras rolling.After the fun on I-80 we finally made it to the Salt Flats. We made it in time to catch a few min of good sunlight. It would have been a great day to shoot out on the salt flats because of all the rain, there was a quarter of an inch of water which works nicely to give a sweet reflection. Hopefully next time we won’t get stopped on the freeway for so long….
