Morgan's Newborn pictures

Posted on: July 20th, 2010 by Jeremy No Comments

A few weeks ago we were able to take newborn pictures of Morgan.  She did a great job and was really easy going.  She slept most of the time even though we were pushing her in all kinds of different positions.  We had a great time, and there are some really cute pictures of her.  Enjoy.

Parker Family

Posted on: July 19th, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

Ok, I am way behind on posting pictures from recent photo shoots.  I have had a couple of very busy weeks with pictures, so I am just going to post a few as I get some time.

Here is a couple pictures of the Parker family that I took a few weeks ago.  We went to the Flow-serve park in Springville, this location is very good because of all the shade and beautiful landscape that they have.

Check out these first two pictures of their youngest daughter.  Isn’t she a cute little girl!

Easter 2009

Posted on: May 2nd, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

Easter this year was wet, cold, rainy but was also a blast. The weather did not stop the kids from doing the Easter egg hunt in the Lynndyl park. Here are a few pictures that were capture on this rainy day.

Afterward we took Mason and Shana up to my Grandpa’s farm. They loved it, well take a look at these pictures and see if you can tell just how much fun they had. Nothing like a couple of 2.5 year olds playing in the hay.

Baby Cows!!!

Posted on: May 2nd, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

My Grandpa has a farm in Lynndyl, UT that Mason loves.  This trip was no exception.  There were new baby cows that were being fed on the bottle, so as a result were very friendly.  It was fun to get a few shots of him checking out these funny little cows and climbing in the pen with them.

McKinley Blessing Day.

Posted on: March 2nd, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

Coming this Sunday we are blessing McKinley and we are excited for this special day for her.  We got a few early shots to of her in her blessing dress.   She looks so pretty!

This was taken on a seamless black background with her laying on  a black furry fabric.  It is hard to see the fabric with the black background, but I’m sure we will use it in pictures in the future.

1st Church Dress

Posted on: February 23rd, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

McKinley was dressed up in her first church dress.  What a cutie!!

The lighting for this shot was setup using 2 strobes, a reflector and my 580 exII flash.  The first strobe was setup directly in front shot into an umbrella and bounced back.  The second strobe was setup behind McKinley on camera right.  It was placed above her and angled down, shot through the white umbrella.  The 580 exII was used to light up the background a little.  The background is a new fabric that I picked up this last weekend.   The reflector was used to give some fill light.

She is such a great model and loves to smile for the camera!!  Check out her big cheese in my first shot.

Valentines Day Photo Shoot

Posted on: February 12th, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

We needed a couple new pictures of the kids for a Valentines day card.  My wife is into digital scrapbooking and she needed a photo for her new card layout.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the shoot.  It was challenging because my son wanted to hold his little sister and was really mad when we kept taking her away.

This setup was done on my white seamless background with two Profoto strobes.  One strobe was placed at a 45 degree angle to the kids, the other was used to blow out the background.  For fill flash I used a reflector on camera right.  The Profoto that was used to light the subjects was shot through a white umbrella.

The final product that we sent to our parents as a Valentines Day card was this.  Check out my wife’s scrapbooking page, she is doing a great job and loving her new hobby.  http://www.gettinscrappywithbritt.com

Sunday morning pictures

Posted on: February 4th, 2009 by Jeremy No Comments

Just thought I would try some natural light pictures this past Sunday morning.  I really like the lighting that it produced.  We have a pretty good sized window in our living room which let in a lot of light plus there was snow on our lawn which gave even more reflected light.  The light was good and soft because there was no direct light coming through the window.  We live right next to the mountain and it is near impossible to get direct light in our front window.

Funny, it looks like we posed Mason on a few of the pictures, but he was actually just running around being his normal hyper self.
